Interplus 356 Aluminium Part A is a high-performance, two-component epoxy primer specifically engineered for surface tolerance, making it an ideal choice for a diverse range of applications, particularly in demanding environments such as offshore structures, refineries, and chemical processing plants. This primer is particularly advantageous in situations where dry abrasive blasting is impractical, allowing for effective surface protection without the need for extensive surface preparation.
Known for its superior corrosion resistance, Interplus 356 excels in safeguarding structures exposed to aggressive conditions. It is particularly suitable for marine environments, where it provides robust protection against harsh elements such as salt spray and other corrosive substances that can compromise structural integrity.
The formulation of Interplus 356 is designed to withstand harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures typically encountered in industrial settings. Notably, this primer can be applied to surfaces that may not be perfectly clean or prepared, making it a pragmatic option for hard-to-reach areas or situations where extensive surface preparation is not feasible.
One of its standout features is its ability to cure effectively in cold conditions, with a minimum application temperature as low as -5°c (23°f), making it an ideal choice for projects in regions with frigid winter climates. The primer is engineered to provide a substantial and thick coating, which serves as a formidable barrier protecting the underlying substrate from corrosion and environmental degradation.
Furthermore, Interplus 356 incorporates advanced metallic pigments, including aluminium and micaceous iron oxide, to significantly enhance its corrosion resistance properties. This innovative formulation not only enhances the durability of the coating but also contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the finished surface, ensuring long-lasting protection and functionality in even the most demanding environments.
