Spillage and environmental:

Mobility: Store in an upright position and ensure the container is tightly closed.

Accidental release: Stop leak if without risk. Move containers from the spill area. Approach the release from upwind. Prevent entry into sewers, water courses, basements or confined areas. Wash spillages into an effluent treatment plant or proceed as follows. Contain and collect spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material, e.g. sand, earth, vermiculite or diatomaceous earth and place it in a container for disposal according to local regulations (see Section 13). Contaminated absorbent material may pose the same hazard as the spilt product.

Textured masonry paint is a specialised type of exterior paint designed specifically for masonry surfaces such as brick, stone, and render. This paint is formulated to create a distinctly non-smooth, often slightly rough finish, which is achieved by incorporating fine particles or grit into the paint mixture. These particles contribute to a rich, textured appearance that not only enhances the visual appeal but also serves functional purposes.

One of the primary advantages of textured masonry paint is its ability to conceal minor surface imperfections, such as small cracks and uneven areas, thereby providing a more uniform aesthetic. This characteristic makes it especially popular for exterior walls where a smooth finish might not be desirable or, in some cases, practical.

The makeup of textured masonry paint typically includes a standard masonry paint base, reinforced with various textured particles, such as very fine stones or sand. This combination not only creates the desirable texture but can also influence the paint’s colour and finish. The result is a unique, rustic, or traditional look that differentiates it from smoother alternatives, lending a sense of character and authenticity to any structure.

In terms of durability, while textured masonry paint is not necessarily more resilient than its smooth counterpart, the raised, textured surface can offer advantageous qualities, including enhanced resistance to scratches and minor impacts. This feature makes it a practical choice for high-traffic and exposed exterior areas, where durability is a key consideration.

Additionally, the textured finish can also improve the paint's adhesion to surfaces, potentially extending the life of the paint job and reducing the frequency of repainting. Overall, textured masonry paint combines aesthetic appeal with practical benefits, making it an excellent option for enhancing outdoor spaces while maintaining their integrity.
